It’s DNA distinguished it from the European wildcat, Felis silvestris silvestris. Pierre Benedetti, the chief environmental technician of the National Hunting and Wildlife Service, told the AFP that it is similar to the African forest cat, Felis silvestris lybica.
The fox-cat
